LOMBOK – Beach volleyball athletes from the City of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, have succeeded in making the region proud at the national level. They managed to beat the host in the event, the National Beach Volleyball League at the Sidoarjo Beach Volleyball Gorge, East Java, which took place December 19-24 2022.
at this prestigious event, the City of Mataram West Nusa Tenggara sent two clubs for two categories.
4×4 category volleyball club, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara and 2×2 category volleyball club core team, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara. Meanwhile, for 4×4 category, athletes from the City of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara managed to embarrass the host club after competing fiercely. This athlete from West Nusa Tenggara won 1st place. As for the 2×2 category club, the core team of the Mataram City volleyball club won 2nd place.
As for the names of athletes from each category who have succeeded in making West Nusa Tenggara proud on the national stage. The 4×4 category includes I Komang Aditiya Yudistira, Sofyan Rachman Efendi, Ade Dimas Septiano and I Nyoman Adi Putra. while the 2×2 category, I Komang Aditiya Yudistira and Ade Dimas Septiano.
“This is the first event for the National Beach Volleyball League. We are grateful to be the champion,” said one of the beach volleyball athletes, I Komang Aditiya Yudistira to Koranlombok.id journalists, Wednesday (28/12) this morning.
“We thank to Mataram City Indonesian National Sports Committee and Mrs Tuti (Utek) who have given us great support. Once again, thank you,” he said.
In the future, he hopes that the next event will receive support from all parties, including the government of Mataram City and West Nusa Tenggara Province.
“Thank you also to the coaches and seniors who have guided and trained,” he said.
