LOMBOK – Chair of the Tourism Awareness Group of Sade Hamlet, Rembitan Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok, Sanah Adinata clarified the confession of a foreigner from Czech Republic who felt cheated while visiting Sade. Apart from that, Sanah also apologized to the public because the information was not true.
“The local guide with limited language intended to welcome, and at that time Davud (a foreigner from the Czech Republic) asked questions rather loudly and miscommunication occurred,” he said when confirmed by Koranlombok.id journalists, Thursday (22/12) afternoon.
Besides that, Sanah admitted that she deeply regretted Davud’s attitude, who admitted that he was tricked when buying souvenirs, even though there was a miscommunication because the seller was elderly and did not understand English. In fact, he feels that Davud thinks that this elderly seller only attracts the empathy of visitors.
“Starting last Tuesday, people selling in Sade are people of productive age,” he explained.
Sanah hopes that in the future the people who are active in tourism activities in Sade Hamlet will be given training, so they can serve tourists better and this will not happen again.
He and the people of Sade have clarified Davud’s allegations through a video that was uploaded via social media, in the video Taufan Rahmadi, who is a tourism figure in West Nusa Tenggara, was also present.
